About Libby

Libby Coverly Cooke Rutledge created her catering business in 1983 in Greenwich, CT. Born and raised in Greenwich, Libby’s entire catering experience goes back more than 30 years. Libby is a true pioneer in her field.

Inspired by her mother’s love and passion for cooking and entertaining, Libby has followed in her mother’s footsteps, creating magnificent menus with extravagant settings for some of Greenwich, Fairfield County and tri-state elite.

Libby’s drive for perfection has given her the reputation as one of the finest caterers and event planners in the tri-state area. Her attention to detail, along with her exquisite culinary creations and impeccable professional service, have kept Libby’s clients returning year after year. Libby’s clients trust that all details will be executed in the most efficient and organized way. Libby is committed to using only the finest and freshest highest quality foods; organic whenever possible. Libby also likes to keep abreast of the now creative innovative new foods in her menus.

Libby has catered beachside parties in the Hamptons, upscale parties in Manhattan, even a gala for 800, (Red Cross Anniversary Ball held in the Net Jets hangar at Westchester County Airport). Libby was chosen to cater an exclusive dinner party for the first lady, Laura Bush. She has even prepared food for Wolfgang Puck.
